We attended Biofach, held in Nuremberg, Germany, from February 13th to 16th, 2024.
Alongside our colleagues from the extended Cefetra Group – Bio Core, Cefetra Dairy, Cefetra Ltd, and Royal Ingredients Group, we attended the premier exhibition for organic and sustainable foods and cosmetic products worldwide – Biofach.
The atmosphere at the event was vibrant with positive energy, providing an excellent opportunity to engage with like-minded professionals from the food and personal care sectors who share our commitment to developing products that contribute positively to the environment.
During our time at Biofach, we gained insights into various market challenges, including the dynamic landscape of the global cocoa market, which has implications for the organic cocoa segment. However, we remain optimistic about the prospects for improvement in the near future.
We also observed a significant trend among brands and companies at the exhibition, as many are utilizing bulk and specialty oils in their product development processes. This observation signals potential opportunities for future collaborations.
In summary, Biofach continues to hold a prominent position on our agenda as a pivotal event for learning, networking, and fostering connections within the sustainable food and personal care industries.
